Hi! I am Lakshmi. I am always at a loss when some one asks me to introduce myself. Where do I start? The quest for my identity has been a long one. It is not over by any long shot. I will try though.

I like to call myself a writer, a chef, a professional. I also like to think of myself as a daughter, a wife, a mom and an aunt. Each of these would describe me well and completely yet are inadequate. I like to read. I love long conversations. I enjoy nature. I hate conflicts. I am known to say “Sorry!” easily. I love my family and I am blessed with an incredibly rich set of friends. I love thinking about my past and the person it has made of me now. I think life is profound and beauty is in the simple things around us. I am an optimist and a romantic.

I dream of writing a book someday. A memoir perhaps? I am forever thinking about what the future holds. I am still discovering my belief system. There is so much that intrigues me.
