For the first edition of this feature, readers were invited to read the book Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, write a review and send me an email with a permalink to their post.
So, here it is – the very first edition of Thoughtful Thursdays.
A-Kay of Lemon and Chillies has her take on the book here.
Spillay of A Pot of Gold has her review up here.
Suman of Thoughts Unlimited has her thoughts on the book here.
And I have mine up here.

@Spillay: Pleasure is all mine!
@Bavani: Will keep the suggestion in mind for sure Bavani. Since we did one travelogue/memoir I am thinking a different genre for this month.
@Suman: Most welcome! I was thinking A Thousand Splendid Sons by Khaled Husseini. If everybody favors Family Matters, am all for it. Will write up a post asking for votes.
UL: You should. I would love to hear your perspective.
@Madhu: Thank you!

Thanks for co-ordinating this. What’s the next book and the book? I would like to propose Family Matters by Rohinton Mistry.

Hi Laksh
Just a suggestion for another book (which I’ve read) – is Holy Cow by Sarah MacDonald. I enjoyed the book as I identified with some aspects having been a tourist myself in India like the author. So I’m not sure if one who is from India would enjoy it – check the review
